Exclamation Hall of Monuments armor?

Okay, I know that in Guild Wars 2, you can use the Hall of Monuments to access titles, weapons, mini pets, etc. that were transferred there from a GWEN character. However, does this also include armor? I saw some screenshots and it looked like it was possible, like you could put any armor from any profession onto your Guild Wars 2 character. Is this true? How does that work? Please let me know! Thank you!

We don't know how it works, we know that we can store our achievements from GW1 there, but there hasn't been much said about *how* this will effect our GW2 characters. I don't think actual items will be transferrable, but that's just the impression I get.

yah i think armour is as i saw a video where there were a load of characters on a wall all in armour.

i dont think anything from gw1 will actually be usable in gw2. would kind of suck to everyone new to gw2 if loads of gw1 people brought tradable rare items into gw2.

In one of the recent videos (IGN, maybe), ascended armor was specifically mentioned, so it might just be limited to that.

So pretty much being rich in gw1 means nothing in gw2.

Hopefully.

New starts are more fun when you are poor. More sense of adventure imo.

I think your armour from GW1 can be displayed in your hall of monuments, and that it will unlock some kind of specific armour in GW2. The video seemed to suggest that. It might be something like a specific, stand alone piece of armour (i.e. mask, or gloves), or a set of armour that only GW1 players will be able to craft. (Perhaps something akin to FOW.) They said they wanted to reward the achievements of GW1 players, and from what I've heard this is my impression of what they'll do.

Thanks everyone! Those are all good explanations/assumptions. hehe I can't wait until the game comes out! Sounds like it'll be very interesting, and the thought of starting over, but differently (not in a roll-back like one of the threads mentioned), sounds great!
